Spain–Türkiye Sisterhood: Double Pride for TEKCE-Sponsored Club Maravillas!

As TEKCE Real Estate, a leading international company operating in both Spain and Turkey, we are thrilled to share exciting news that is worth far more than our commercial activities: Club Balonmano Maravillas Benalmadena (Benalmádena Maravillas Handball Club), whose sponsorship is proudly undertaken by TEKCE, is preparing two of its players for the Spanish and Turkish national teams!

Founded in 1971, Colegio Maravillas is one of Benalmádena’s long-established educational institutions. Its handball club, which has been inspiring talented young people with a love of sport for many years, has achieved numerous successes at both regional and national levels. Following the Málaga provincial championship, Andalusian regional championship, and a fourth-place finish for the U14 team in Spain this year, the club is now celebrating another remarkable achievement on the international stage. Training side by side in the same sports hall in Spain, these two young talents once again remind us of sport’s unique power to transcend borders and bring cultures together.

Their journey proves once again how sports can cross borders and unite cultures. We also believe this achievement is a beautiful testament to the Spain-Turkey sisterhood that was planted early this year.

One Club, Two National Jerseys

The talented goalkeeper of the club’s U14 girls’ team, Defne Nil Tekçe, is preparing to represent Türkiye, while her accomplished teammate and team captain, Mónica Ávila Ramos, is preparing to wear the Spanish national team jersey. The fact that these two young athletes have developed at the same club and are now preparing to wear the national colors of their respective countries further strengthens the bonds of friendship between Türkiye and Spain through the unifying spirit of sport.

The highly anticipated Turkish national team technical camp will take place in Aksaray, Türkiye, from 21 to 25 July. The Spanish national team’s technical camp for the 2012–2013 age group will be held in Burgos from 22 to 28 July.
