The Turkish Citizenship Application Fee Raised to $600,000!

The lower purchasing limit for Turkey citizenship by investment will be increased to $600,000 as of the beginning of the year, according to a new regulation by the Directorate of Immigration Administration.

According to the regulation issued on June 13, 2022, foreigners are eligible to apply for Turkish citizenship if they buy real estate worth $400,000 in Türkiye. The application's lower limit was reduced to 250.000 USD from 1.000.000 USD in September 2018. Following the public debate, it was raised to $400,000 in 2022.

With the new regulation, the lower limit for property sales to foreigners for citizenship applications will rise from $400,000 to $600,000 in the new year.
