Apartments for Sale in Serik, Antalya, Resort Flats on Belek's Coast
An apartment in Serik usually means a flat in a resort complex on the coast east of Antalya, with shared pools, landscaped gardens and a short walk or drive to the beach, the golf courses or the town. Of the flats we list in this district of Turkey today, the great majority are in Belek, with a smaller group in neighbouring Kadriye.
The flats are one part of what we offer here; our overview of property in Serik brings together villas, apartments and plots.
Why Buy an Apartment in Serik, a Simple Home on the Golf Coast
A resort flat is the easiest way to own a piece of this coast. The complex looks after the pool and the gardens, you lock the door when you leave, and the apartment is ready when you or your guests arrive.
For owners who let, the district has two draws, its beaches and the golf courses of Belek and Kadriye. Antalya Airport is about 33 kilometres from Belek, so transfers are short and guests can arrive the day they land.
Owners who live in the flat for longer stays have more than the beach: Aspendos and its ancient theatre are about 15 minutes inland by car, and the Köprüçay river winds down through its canyons further inland.
Where to Buy a Flat in Serik, Belek First and Then Kadriye
Belek is where most of the flats we list in Serik stand. Within the town, the real choice is how close you want to be to the centre, with its shops, cafés and restaurants, and how close to the courses and the beach; it decides the character of your stay, livelier evenings or quieter mornings.
Kadriye, the resort town just west of Belek, offers a smaller selection of flats, most of the town's homes on our books being villas. Its apartments suit buyers who want to be near The Land of Legends and the town's own beachfront.
Beyond these two towns, Boğazkent is Serik's third coastal town, and the district centre inland is a working town.
Serik Apartments and What to Compare Between Resort Complexes
In a resort district, the complex matters as much as the apartment. Compare the pool and gardens, how well the common areas are maintained, the yearly management fee, and whether the complex allows short-term letting if you plan to rent the flat out.
Then look at the unit: the floor, the direction the balcony faces, and whether the apartment is sold furnished. Ground-floor flats often have a garden terrace, upper floors a view. Ask, too, for the building's completion year and the name of the management company, and read the complex's rules before you commit. It is also worth asking whether staff stay on site outside the summer, since that decides how the flat is looked after while you are away.
If you find you would like more space and a pool of your own, compare them with the villas in Serik we list.
